Robert Notzon is a native Texan (multi-generational on both sides of his family) living and practicing law in Austin, Texas. Mr. Notzon has been married for 21 years and is a proud father of an 20-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter. Mr. Notzon’s legal practice has focused primarily on plaintiffs’ employment law (discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims) as a solo practitioner since he graduated from law school 22 years ago. Throughout that time, Mr. Notzon has represented a broad range of individuals and groups of employees against City, County, State, Federal, and private employers. These employers have ranged between very small to multi-billion dollar multinational corporations. The common thread in all employment cases for Mr. Notzon has been that no two are alike. The key to success resides in a heightened attention to detail. Although the ultimate goal of any litigation remains justice and truth, the path to victory invariably requires the identification of factual misrepresentations; yes, lies. Prove who’s lying and you have usually identified the loser of the litigation. When asked what he does, Mr. Notzon typically responds, I bake, play kickball, and sue bad people.”
